This service includes transportation only; there’s no tour guide on-site at the monastery. However, you can listen to the guide’s commentary on the bus during the journey (available in English, Spanish, or Italian).

Departures most often take place at 9:00 AM from Vasil Levski Monument (Embassy of Slovakia) – LOCATION
The departure from Rila Monastery is scheduled for 3:00 PM (for those with a return ticket), with an approximate return to Sofia by 5:30 PM.
On some days alternative departure times are available for selection during the reservation process. Your precise departure time will be specified on your ticket.

The price is for a one-way ticket. If you want a round trip, you must purchase two separate tickets – one for the outbound journey and one for the return.
